Love this place! Food: You can taste the fresh ingredients and see the attention to detail in the presentation. The ambiance was perfect. We sat outside, next to the water under an umbrella. The service was great too. Our server Holly was friendly, paid attention to our requests. All in all I highly recommend. We ordered from Sunday brunch steak and eggs, avocado toast, crab cake sandwich, oysters and a basket of biscuits

Went to The Boathouse at Sunday Park for my daughter's birthday and we had a wonderful time and great food thanks to Ricky the bartender who ended up serving us. He took really good care of us. For beverages coffee, which comes in a press pot and is really good, Moscow mules, orange crush and a whisky special, I think an old fashioned. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share including mussels, peel and eat shrimp, oysters and hush puppies and everything was great. The broth with the mussels was amazing and we all kept dipping the charred bread and the hush puppies in it. Entrees were a mix of the broiled platter, fish and chips, fried shrimp, pizza and of course truffle fries. We had so much food and ended up bringing some home. Since it was a birthday celebration we were required to have dessert. A pizzooki, bread pudding, which was amazing and Ricky brought an extra birthday dessert. Bread pudding was amazing. I wish I could have eaten it all! Special thanks to Ricky for a fun and festive night. He is a great representative for The Boathouse for sure.

This review is an improvement over the last review I did for the Boathouse. Food was excellent, service was very good, and you just can't beat the view. Although a 20 percent tip was included in the bill, the server lost out since I usually tip much more than that. I understand that next month, the Boathouse will go back to the traditional method of tipping. This place is comparable to Hard Shell or Red Lobster. For the same price though, I could go to 21 Spoons a couple miles down Charter Colony and get an upscale, gourmet meal. I can't complain though...good food, service, and a friendly staff. That's all you need when going out.
